It's that time of the week again! I took the girls to eat lunch with Jack for his birthday. They do a fun table for all the birthday kids and they get cake and a prize, educational of course. It was also red ribbon week and we happened to be there on Hawaiian day, can't you tell from our outfits? Anyway, they had a hula hoop contest and Jack took a turn. He is actually really good, something about no hips really helps him out!
The pictures with the sheep are just outside my front door! There were hundreds of them, and the evidence, besides these pictures, is still littered along the street! It was fun to watch them pass and I am curious as to where they came from and where they were going. Wow, golden questions, eh!
The other pictures are down at the creek in our backyard. If you're brave you can click on it and get it bigger to see the giant worm Jeffrey is holding (and Katie Anne with her finger up her nose in the background!). The boys were outside all day Saturday digging for bugs and having fun.
Also this week...Jack and Jeffrey along with my niece Aly sang in an interfaith concert at the Tabernacle. They were far away from me so when they started going nutso during the organ piece which was quite energetic I thought I would go nutso! But they did all right. They were the last group to perform and Jack said his favorite part of the night was finally getting to stand up. The benches are not comfortable!
Sunday both boys were at it again in their primary program. They did a good job and said their parts good. One little girl stole the show, a little nursery girl, no less, who knew EVERY WORD of EVERY SONG! She was adorable.
Friday (wow, this weekly review is not organized at all!) we dropped the kids off at the babysitters along with about 20 other kids so we could go to the elder's quorum party. We 'dressed up' in backpacking stuff, which was nice since we took Katie Anne and she could just hang out in her backpack. We had fun talking to people but when they started setting up for musical chairs my heart dropped. (Janice, are you blurking???) I was forced to play but thankfully got out before my competitive self could make a showing. :) John did win the donut eating contest and came in 3rd for an art project we had to do, which I will scan in as soon as it's plugged in.
My two major accomplishments this week were finding the printer and the crockpot, and John's major accomplishment was reorganizing the garage so I can get the van in. And I've taken too long and now Katie Anne has food in her hair. The price we pay to blog...

Wow! You have a lot to keep you busy. By the way I think your house looks great! The outside could use a little work. (Smile)
Busy week! I'm not getting the pictures for some reason...
Hey, it sounds like a very full week with lots to do. You guys have hit the ground running, not missing a beat from busy in California to busy in Utah.
I sure wish I could see the pictures though. I wonder if it's a problem with your new blog layout?
So I have been "blurking" (love that word) your blog for a long time, and decided to "come out of the closet," so to speak and leave you a comment. Hopefully you know who I am.
Anyway, I love your blog. I have learned so much about you that I didn't know before! Good to have you back in Utah.
BTW, I couldn't see the pics either. (???)
You sure do a lot. Life in Utah keeps you busy. I didn't get the pictures either. Maybe you are just messing with us! And I'm sorry about Katie Anne's hair... that's a bummer.
You are a busy woman!
Thanks for sharing. Your pictures are still not showing up. :(
My kids will be so jelous about your creek, what a dream. They would probably love the searching for bugs too. Sounds like you had a super great week. I wonder where those sheep were going too?
Why did the sheep cross the road? No really why did you have sheep crossing the road?
