What a happy day...

Saturday, July 31  Brigham City Temple Groundbreaking

Our day started out with our first chance to attend the groundbreaking for a temple.  We had heard that there would be thousands of people attending, and that we might want to go to the air conditioned stake center where we could see and hear.  So, that's what we did.  That's what everybody did!  Apparently, there was tons of room down at the temple site but whatever...we enjoyed just being a part of things for the beginning of this:

that will be only 8 blocks from my house.  We went and took a picture of the lot earlier that week:
So you can see they have a lot of work to do!

That afternoon we had another happy day.  Jeffrey was baptized that afternoon and he had so many people come and support him. (THANK YOU!)  When I asked him how he felt he just smiled that huge grin and gave me the thumbs up sign.  Take note of that cute lego creation in the bottom right hand corner...it's John and Jeffrey in the font! :)
After that everyone came over for a baked potato bar, basketball, and all kinds of playing.  What a happy day!
