UEA

In Utah we have a break called UEA, Utah Educators Association.  We, however, use it for a fall break and a good time.  This year we were invited by Grandma and Grandpa Morrill to go to This is the Place Heritage Park with them and my sister-in-law Kristina and her two boys.  It was a special Halloween event so the kids wore fun shirts and got to trick-or-treat at a few places there, make some cute crafts, and ride a pony.  The highlight for most of them was panning for gold in a stream.  Katie Anne really got in to it by, well, getting into it!  Luckily I had stripped her of her pants before she was in it too far.  We had a fun time riding a couple of the trains and just being a part of something else.  I didn't get many good pictures so don't get too excited...

Here we are at one of the statues while we wait to get in.  See what I mean about a bad picture...the only one with her eyes open isn't even looking at me.
Here's Jeffrey.  He got the littlest pony...
Well, Katie Anne looks cute...sorry Jack for cutting you in half!
This one of Jane's not so bad!
All in all, Katie Anne summed up the day:

The rest of the weekend included a sleepover with cousins, making sugar cookies, going to Despicable Me, shooting for John and the 3 older kids, and finally church and game afternoon.  It's nice to have some fun!

Disneyland was PACKED with Utahns this weekend. More Mormons than usual I would gather. I told Brent that we could probably go down the street and every other family would be Mormons. I was not exaggerating. It would be a fun experiment!
