Weekly (plus) Review...

We continue to live.  That's good.  I do have a little evidence of this!  I was telling my sister the other day that taking pictures during the good and normal times are good, as reminders that I'm not all bad!  Some days are worse than others.  There are no pictures of those here.  But BELIEVE ME, there are those days.  My friend  indicated the other day that I should post more of that here.  No thanks.  This is the stuff I WANT to remember.  So sorry, Di, but keep reading anyway!  (P.S....did you find a bunch of blond hair in your kitchen craft corner?  Apparently Katie Anne cut Jane's hair while we were visiting...not to worry...she chopped it right where I wanted it cut anyway, and now I had a reason to do it!)

Anyway...here are a few things that we've been up to lately...
We went to my mom and dad's house for FHE last week.  We had a fabulous roast and potato dinner.  My nephews, Kenny and Brian came so that was fun too.  Since it was president's day, and I was on lesson, we just went around and told everything we knew about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. It turned out to be a really great lesson!  They were great men in the right place at the right time.

Jeffrey didn't want to leave...he was TOO COZY! (notice the heater vent behind him?  I spent many an hour in the same spot, only the bench wasn't there when I was a kid.)

Katie Anne has many loves in her life...here's one of them.
The boys continue to excel in scouts with absolutely no help from me.  They have great leaders!

They had to make something scout related as a centerpiece.  I failed to get a picture of Jack's (see...bad mom...) but he made a little house with scouts having a meeting inside...they even had little cardboard hats!  Jeffrey made this one, with a little help from his dad, for a school assignment and used it for this as well.
John occasionally gets a request to carry the kids to bed...this time he took it literally...What a big strong man!
So there you have it...a few of the events in our exciting life.  But hey, that's life to us!

I need the reminder of these fun moments some days. That's why I share them. I have no problem remember what "really" happens! I'll have to show Benjamin Jeffery's guitar!
