While I consider myself a scrapbooker, I have realized since attending the Scrapbook USA expo that I really don't deserve the name!
These people are serious!
My friend Kim and I headed down last Friday morning to check things out. She's been several times and knew her way around.
I was like a kid in a candystore!
All that beautiful paper.
And the deals...
I got glue dots for half off people! Waited in line for like an hour!
But it gave me time to take in my surroundings. Women of all shapes, sizes, and ages were working at tables set up in the center of the gigantic room, they pushed their way through crowds hauling their 'rollies' in one hand, their strollers with the other. They ran to the hourly deals with the panic of a fire drill (okay, maybe not that panicky), and screamed with delight at getting a bingo (that would not be me, so sad to say it).

Kim and I made our way through the booths, ate lunch and made our way through the rest if the booths.
By about 3:30 we were spent out, worn out, and ready to go.
We had seen it all.
I'm glad I went.
Now I need to USE this stuff!
