A Love Story

A long time ago in a far away land called Michigan two people bonded over bagpipes.
A few years later they met again and began to be friends.
 Good friends.
Really good friends.
Really, really...what?  That's enough?  You get the idea?
Anyway, they decided to get married.
Her mom said, "You can marry who you want as long as he adores you."

The two:

 Became one.
They had lots of support then:
and now.
The day dawned bright and sunny and windy.  They had an outdoor reception.  It snowed in the not so distant mountains that very night. But their love, and heaters, kept them warm during a long, long reception.  Of course, it was all worthwhile, especially after they raided the cards and got enough money to go on a honeymoon.

They began to discover life together.  She discovered many things.  Like cleaning the bathroom doesn't mysteriously become fun when it's your own.

She also discovered that he liked to play basketball even at 5 in the morning, he could solve and fix any problem that came along, that they could live happily with hardly any furniture, unless you count the camp chairs and bean bag.

She later learned that he was a good father, that he would take care of her when she didn't look so hot, that he would fulfill his church callings with care and thought, and that he had a talent in woodworking.

She suspected life with him would never be boring, that he would pursue life with passion, and that he did indeed adore her.

She was right.
