John has been a busy boy...
First he cleaned up our 'summer' garage. In the summer NOTHING gets put away, really. Chairs, camping gear, stuff like that just gets left in the middle of John's side of the garage. When the air turns a little chilly we make an effort to get it cleaned up and put away so he can park his car in there when the flakes start to fall, which was early this year. To help the curse of summer garage, John built some extra shelving. Maybe next year we won't have summer garage? (But I doubt it!)

In his garage cleaning project he tackled some bike storage. He built a small rack for our two bikes. Don't they just look so cozy there together?
He built one for the kids bikes too, and I won't lie, I had to pick up to bikes laying right next to the rack to take this picture. At least there is a place now to at least TRY to keep them organized.

Lastly, our garage and cold storage room are too warm to store potatoes, carrots, and onions over the winter. But we like those things...especially with our harvest of carrots and the cheapness of potatoes and onions right now. So, John came up with this baby...a cellar in the window! And, for those of you who stay in our guest room, you can have a midnight snack and still get out in case of emergency!
He also went hunting and shot a deer and dragged it a mile down the mountain all by himself.
Lucky for you and me there are NO PICTURES!
