Some of our other fun pictures...
Grace slept over several of the nights. I would find them on the top bunk spying on the other campsites. I just love this picture!

Wednesday night we went back into Santa Barbara for food at Max's Fish and Chips. This is not your bag of frozen sticks you buy at Walmart. WOWZAHS! Really yummy.
The whole beach gang drove in minus some kids who don't like fish. We even tried haggis! Yuck.
It's always exciting to spot sea life. Arlene swears she saw a whale breaching but none of us saw it. It was her birthday so I'm sure if she did see it, it was just for her!
It's hard to get a picture because it moves and it's hard to point the camera at the exact right spot. Luckily I caught a couple! We love watching the pelicans dive in for a tasty snack!
If you watch this, you will see a bunch of pelicans fly by and a seal making an appearance. Of course before I go the camera going, the seal was doing flips and being very entertaining right in front of us!

One particular pelican got some tar that is found naturally in the water on it's wings. He chose to come VERY close to us, then opened it's wings to dry it out. See him there, just beyond Ronelle? He got a little annoyed when we tried to chase him off and went after Jack. We named him Nigel and, while we felt bad for him, we also didn't want to be attacked. Hope he's good now!

One last picture. Of course Katie Anne fell on her way across the street and bloodied up her knees and toes. Never fails.

Life's a beach!
It always sounds like a fabulous time!
Wonderful!!! SO wish I could live everyday just like that. Sleepovers, smores and sand between my toes. You make it great.
