Here's another one! Katie Anne got her straight leg cast on August 29, then crawled out of it and had a new one put on September 4 that bent her leg at a 90 degree angle. She was such a good sport about it and as you can see from the pictures she did not let it get her down in any way! She got the cast off September 30th. She had a nickel sized hole in the back of her knee where the cast rubbed her wrong. It was very gross and made me so sad, almost worse than the broken leg itself! She is healing nicely, though, and puts weight on it again and crawls normal for the most part. I found some pants that would fit over her cast so she was warm on cold days, and can now wear her really warm p.j.'s at night, which is good because in case you hadn't heard, we live in Utah now!

Yeah, nice welcome to Utah with the weather we're having. You might just be missing southern California about now.

I liked your pictures. But you know me, the whole time I was waiting to see a picture of the nickel sore... I'm morbid. I'm glad you are getting settled in Utah. Have you run into the Lakers yet? Maybe you can think of the snow as a reminder that you won't have to travel over the holidays to be with family!
what a cute girl. I'm glad the cast is off and so sorry about the wound. Glad you made it to Utah and are back on line. Say hi to the fam for us. (and I'm a little jealous you get to REALLY experience Fall). We'll get a taste the end of this month though--Chris' brother is getting married in Utah and then we are heading to Illinois for a week. I'm so excited to let Claire play in the leaves (I mean eat them, let's be honest.)
