Jack has really celebrated his 8th birthday! We had a little party for him the night before the movers came. We did "It's GREAT to be EIGHT!" and had alot of fun. Then when we got up here we had a hot dog roast at my parent's home and had him open his presents from us there. Then...we had a picnic with John's side and he got sung to again. And we're not that great of singers! Poor kid...Anyway, it's been fun and of course you can see by his grin that he's enjoyed all of it. Thanks to everyone for the nice gifts and for understanding about not getting thank you notes any time soon :)

In Jack's case it's super-duper great to be eight! I like to string my birthday parties out through the whole month of June if I can, so go Jack!
