We did it! Last week was a big one and we made it through. I went to Jeffrey's class for his party and ended up pulling his tooth out! He had blood dripping off his lip and it turns out when he ate the cupcake at the station before mine it made his loose tooth even looser, so we pulled it out. yuck. Why do we celebrate teeth falling out of their mouths??? Anyway, it was pretty exciting. That night after taco soup the kids got all dressed up...Jane as Snow White, Jack as an army pilot, Jeffrey as Batman, and Katie Anne as a Snow Angel. Cute! We did a couple streets in our neighborhood then went to where the real action was in my sister's neighborhood. Then we went to her party with used q-tips (pretzels with mini marshmallows at the end dipped in peanut butter) and boo juice (different pops with green or orange ice cream in it) and spider dip (7layer dip with a spider web design out of sour cream). Very fun!
Saturday morning both boys had their Basketball Skills Sessions. They go for a few months to learn how to play the game, then they have games after the new year. What a concept, to teach them actual skills! They loved it. But of course the big news of the day was Jack's baptism. He was very excited. We had almost all the family here and we really appreciate their support. Jack was beaming and it was special to have my Dad speak on the Holy Ghost. It struck me that 8 is still pretty young and my heart just prays that he will allow this to guide his life for good. After that we had all 51 of us in our home for dinner. We used the downstairs for some of the eating area and that helped a lot. We had taco salad with the works and lots of yummy cookies for dessert. Again thanks to all who brought things! I had been on a cookie craze and made oatmeal cookies, sugar doodles, MiriLou's gingersnaps, and Rachel's Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love recipe's with names in them!

Cute costumes, though I'm not exactly sure what KA is supposed to be. Congrats to Jack, that's such a big deal when your first gets baptized. Cool!
About cookies, I may have to make some snickerdoodles in your honor.
