Showing Love

Wordful Wednesday this month is all about the lovin...this week is how we show love to our families. I couldn't think of anything grand to say, and thought about the daily things I do that I feel show my love for them. In what may sound generic to you, I've put my thoughts together when, as I picture it as I read it, means a lot to me...enjoy it anyway!

showing love

reading, feeding
hugs and kisses
helping clean up little messes

sweeping, dusting
stop to play
jobs get done another day

swimming, sledding
games at night
soothe an owie, 'it's all right'

singing, rhyming
laugh out loud
being silly lifts a dark cloud

driving, waiting
watch them smile
peace inside, it's all worth while

teaching, hoping
family night
in the heart plant seeds of light

praying, pleading
watch them sleep
feel the love way down deep

loving, giving
do my best
knowledge true: I am so blessed

**author's note...I didn't use punctuation to make it feel like it's flowing...and it's supposed to be staggered and I can't get it to publish that way. anyway...
