Heartwarming

I'm ashamed to say it, but Saturday afternoon of General Conference didn't go so well.  Everyone was a little off.  There had been a golf club, in your face, basketball to the head incident.  A hiding incident where we couldn't find one of the kids due to the first incident.  Loud demands for this and that and no peace.  I should have just hit pause and dealt with it all and started it again.  I didn't and at the end felt more lame than ever.  Luckily, I tried hard to change my attitude and that night went well, the next day went well, and I have the session recorded to watch at will.  It's not like I won't get the messages, but it certainly could have been better.  What I need to do and have been trying to do, is reflect more often on the good and not the bad.  What a concept.  Here is one reminder...

(Jack was just to the side and I couldn't get him in the picture...he was coloring and listening to the story.)
They really are awesome kids!

That picture is precious! I'm sad to say it, but our conference experience was quite similar. There's always ups and downs in life so that just means October conference will be great for our families right! :)
