Wax Museum

Jeffrey became Philo T. Farnsworth today in the Fourth Grade Wax Museum.

Do you know who that is? I'm quite positive you've come in contact with his main invention, it's a little something called:
The Television.

Philo figured some fancy stuff out making the beginning efforts of the television a workable enterprise. When he demonstrated his findings for investors he sent a single image to the screen: a black and white and very prophetic almighty dollar sign.

Another man claimed he had all the ideas first, but after a lengthy court battle Philo was awarded the patent and the title "Father of Television". He won in part due to the testimony of his high school teachers who had watched Philo's experiments, proving he had the idea first.

All of the figures in the museum were people in Utah history who have made a difference. Will I ever be portrayed by a fourth grader in a hundred years?

Jane came home sick earlier in the day so my sweet neighbor came over and stayed with the girls while I went to the school. I listened to Jeffrey, his two best friends, and all the kids from our primary at church. Then I went home where I can make a difference that will actually hopefully be remembered in a hundred years, or at least 10 or 20!
