My bright idea

In an effort to keep my main floor bathroom accessible and uncluttered, I came up with a few organizing tips that perhaps might be useful to you, my 9 faithful followers!

Because we do our hair downstairs we needed something easy to cart out to the tv where we tune the kids out to cartoons while we comb and brush their hair.  To make this easier, we use a picnic utensil basket for our hair care needs.  We have a water bottle, a bottle of detangler (half water, half infusium), pony tail holders, combs and brushes, and a few non-hair care items such as clippers, tweezers and q-tips (for those times when I'm doing their hair and catch a glimpse into their ears).

I have seen so many cute ideas for keeping bows and hair things, but I don't know where to put something that cute and have it be accessible.  So, we use a couple of boxes from Walmart.  Not too cute but practical!
We keep the bins under the sink, along with our toothbrush box (which we hang our headbands and nailbrush on) and all the other necessities.  This way my counters can stay clean.  I figured this would be a good time to show you the rest of the bathroom.  And before I get hundreds of emails, I watered that plant today!

Where did you get the picnic utensil basket from? Brilliant and super cute!

Great idea. I need one of those wire shelf thingies.

That looks like a great system! Perhaps I will steal it :)
