Fall

Living in California I had my moments of home sickness, but never so regularly as in the fall.  So, I feel obligated to soak in as much fall as possible, now that we live here in the middle of it all.  This has been the most beautiful of falls since we moved her four years ago.  I made sure we took time on Friday to head to one of my favorite restaurants, The Oaks, in Ogden canyon.

Katie Anne goes on our flex Friday dates with us and we enjoy her immensely.  We only wish we could have time like this with each of our kids! 

She likes to take pictures while we are waiting!  Before we were led to our table we watched fish in the stream running just behind us.

On the way down the canyon we were blessed with such a view as this...I just snapped away, not caring really what I was getting because I knew it would all be wonderful!  Sardine canyon is even better, if you can believe it, but since I was driving through that one I thought it best to leave the camera put away.  We're hoping to get out again Friday. 

 

What a beautiful world God has given us.  Enjoy it!
