As long as we're talking birthdays...
Katie Anne had a big one on one of the biggest days of the century!
Because she was turning 5 she got a party, and boy did we party!
By the way.
I would appreciate it if not even one of you pointed out that my baby turned 5.

So anyway, I taught preschool on Tuesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, her birthday, we had all those same little friends (plus one) over for the party. Because we were inviting boys we decided to not have a princess party, per se, but invite everyone to 'have a ball' at 'Katie Anne's castle'.
First we decorated crowns.
Then we decorated castles:
We pinned the crown on the princess:
She was so spoiled by her friends...
She requested pizza for dinner and who am I to say no!
We gave her a few gifts too...
Because her birthday fell on such a unique day we decided to have the family over.
We had ice cream and princess cupcakes.
We love our Katie Anne and the sweet sunshine she brings into our lives every day!
Hard to believe she looked like this just 5 years ago...
