Friday Four

I thought and thought yesterday what I could write for Thursday Thirteen and decided that thirteen is a very large number! So, here's my Friday Four...

4 Things that bring me a feeling of satisfaction...

  1. While it's aggravating to have piles of sand all over my house, dumped out of children's shoes, pockets, diapers, etc., it is such a satisfying feeling to vaccuum it up. Man I wish I could link a sound effect to this!
  2. I finally got Katie Anne to laugh. I'm trying, however, to not take it personally that she laughed while I sang "You Light Up My Life" to her.
  3. Speaking of the baby, it is also very satisfying to use the squeezie thing from the hospital and get big boogers out of her nose! Gross, I know, but a little fun, too. Like wrestling or some other sport that is gross but fun.
  4. I finally got my dresser cleaned off. My piles included a Christmas letter, Disneyland tickets, multiple receipts, and lots of hair ribbons of Jane's. It's nice to see something clean when I walk in my room.

So...what brings you satisfaction?

Unfortunatly I am a list maker. I find great statisfaction in crossing off everything on a big long list. I also love when my kids laugh at me for something funny I did. In a sick sort of way I also enjoyed using the booger sucker on my babies.

I think my biggest right now is just the little things...like cleaning up the dinner dishes before I go to bed, or putting in the last load of laundry, even if I know that they will not be getting folded today.

I find satisfaction when all 3 kids are in bed asleep at night! Also when an HFPE activity is over, cleaned-up and I'm back home!

I find satisfaction in a clean home, although that only lasts for about 3 minutes. I also feel great when I finally accomplish a task even if it takes awhile. Lastly, I love when I actually take the time to play with my kids, even if I have to make 10 spaceships out of legos.

Satisfaction - well that would be opening a drawer or cupboard or looking at a shelf and having everything in its proper place. I love to organize and find great satisfaction when things are "properly placed."
I also find satisfaction in my children's smiles.

Hmm... one thing that comes to mind is getting Gina bathed. I love to smell her head and snuggle after she's all clean!
