4 kids and 7 moves later...

Today is our TENTH Anniversary! We got married in the Logan Temple on a windy (and later snowy) June day. John had been staying at my parents house due to a crazy week before we got married. On Wednesday John finally got the call that he got a job at Kennecott Copper Mines for the summer. On Thursday we went down and found an apartment. On Friday we moved him out of his Logan apartment. On Saturday he worked his last day, a double shift, at Central Park burgers, and on Sunday we did family pictures. On Monday we moved into our apartment in West Valley, and on Tuesday we were married. We had pancakes for breakfast then got ready. Luckily John tried his tux on and realized it was TOO BIG but had time to go and get another one. I realized too late that I hadn't got anyone to help me with my hair but since it was windy I could just blame it on that. We had pictures at the temple before we got married, then came the big moment. Just as we were walking into a sealing room a gentleman said, "Last chance to back out!" After more pictures at the temple with all of our wonderful family and friends, we had a delicious wedding luncheon at Juniper Inn, which has since burned down. The reception was held in my parents yard, even though it was cold. My brother set up heaters for the wedding line, but the video shows the people waiting in line were COLD! Poor John didn't know a whole lot of people who came through but it was enough for him to stand by me. He especially enjoyed when 2 of his old girlfriends came through the line TOGETHER! One of the best presents we got was having our muffler fixed. When we couldn't find the car after the ceremony we were very concerned (like it was getting decorated) but it was just in the shop. My nephews and who knows who else decorated it later. We had frape and nutcups and cake for refreshments which we heard were very tasty! So, we had a fun day and look forward to another 10, and another and another...
