Well, I don't do much on Facebook, other than read what people have to say and make a few comments. I don't take quizzes, and I don't join groups. I don't download pictures, because if I really want you to see them, I'll put them here. HOWEVER...I am intrigued by the "I'm a Fan" section of Facebook. So, I've been thinking, what am I a fan of? And what does it say about me?
Well, here are just a few...
I am a HUGE fan of Google. If my kids ask me a question I don't know the answer to (which rarely happens), I just google it. If I want something for dinner with certain ingredients, I google it. And if I need a picture of something, like the word Google, I well, you know what I do. Besides, google is just so darn fun to say!
I am also a fan of Badminton. Because, I can play it relatively well. So you know, now, if you didn't before, that it's a WAY easy game to play. And you get to hit these little suckers, called birdies, or shuttlecocks, if you're going to be persnickety about it. Hmm...another fun word!
And this is the one that got me started thinking about what I was a fan of. I bought some of these fantastic bags with a little extra room at the bottom so you can put more in. The funny part, and I laugh (or at least smile) EVERY TIME I think about it, is that the little bit of extra bag is advertised as the "Expandable Bottom". Now isn't that just funny? I don't think I need to explain why. If you don't think it's funny, you have WAY more dignity than me.
And, some of you know this one already. I LOVE Drumsticks! And if you want to know how my day or week is going, you might ask not if I had a drumstick, but how many. This week I bought a BIG BOX! Man, I think I'm a fan of writing things in CAPITAL LETTERS to invoke EXCITEMENT! (WOW!) (I really like PARENTHESES (just googled that to make sure I spelled it right) as well).
As you know, I am also a shameless fan of COMMENTS (there's those capitals again!) So come on... tell me what you're a fan of!
