Jack has had quite a week! On Monday he turned 9. Crazy! We had a couple of his friends and their families over for hamburgers and cupcakes. The weather could not have been better! 90 degrees! Compared with the less than 50 we're going to hit today and the rain and winds coming, we were pretty lucky. The plumber installed the toilet on his birthday so when he got home from school I told him that was his birthday present. Luckily, he's been around me enough to know that I was teasing him! Anyway...we had a good time.
Last night he was awarded his Wolf in scouts. I only found out recently that he had to be done by the time he was 9. I probably should have known this, but I didn't so we had to rush a few things at the end. He ended up with 4 arrows as well. And just because it's his lucky week, today is the last day of school until Monday. It's UEA, so we'll be trying to do a few more fun things, like letting him pick out the bike we gave him for his birthday.

Makes ya feel old when your kids get "old" right! Congrats all week to him! Oh and just so you know mom, he has to have everything done for his Bear before he turns 10... and everything done for his Webelos before he is 11. After that, it's Dad's problem.
