That lady has issues. As do most of the people who commented on her post. Not pregnant after a week of trying, poor her. And the nerve of her to compare her 'struggle' with someone who has been waiting for 15 YEARS?!!?
I echo what Amy said and play my saddest song on my tiniest violin just for her.
BTW, the song is not for Amy but for the sad, put-upon blogger.
Um... you do know it is a fake blog for entertaining offering satire of mormon culture... right?
With that said, I find it highly entertaining while wanting to gauge my eyes out with my fingernails at the same time!
PS Moderating and being a member of mormonchic's message board, I can guarantee that there are women who are not only this stupid, but this insensitive when it comes to their own fertility.
I knew it was a spoof...and I think a lot of it is funny. I do think she crossed the line a bit...just wondered what you thought...
I guess it didn't bother me because I knew she was making fun of those girls, not people like me. And like I said, I've actually read things like this on MC, so I'm glad someone is calling those people out in a way.
I think her posts are hilarious, but make me cringe at the same time!!
I was gonna comment " I'm confused" "cause I wasn't sure why you'd send me there. After reading the comments...I've gotta take another look.
I'm with you Kat, some of this blog is funny, but sometimes it crosses the line.
It's light minded and I think it crosses the line as well. I don't think making fun of people helps anything. It also gets old real quick. I don't find her to be that clever anymore.
