For a week the kids at our school were supposed to go to family and friends and ask them to buy a thirteen dollar tub of cookie dough. We had one taker. (Thank you, Mom!) Trouble was, I had promised them they could each sale one tub, so I ponied up and they each had a whopping one tub sold on their list. For each tub sold, the child got to enter one ticket into a drawing, with little prizes through out the week, and a final drawing being for the big prize of a five-pound bar of chocolate. The kids turned their tickets in on the last possible day and we were happy and surprised when Jeffrey won. His prize? A bag of sunflower seeds, ranch flavored.
The next day they drew for the big bar of chocolate. That afternoon the boys burst through the door from school shouting, "Guess who won the chocolate!!!" It wasn't Jack, and it wasn't Jeffrey. It was Jane! What a lucky little duck! Course she wasn't at school, having morning kindergarten, so today when I went to pick her up from school, out she came carrying this fine specimen of every woman's favorite fall back stress reliever.

Fund Raisers Pay
Here they are getting ready for the first bite.
And here they are enjoying every bite.
I had to look it up online. It costs a whopping $64.95 at the Worlds Finest Chocolate website. I'd have to say we came out on top, wouldn't you?

I HATE those fundraisers, but the kids do love the prizes. How fun for Jane and everyone else around! I can't believe she won a $64.95 chocolate bar!
