Boo!

It's almost scary how late I am with updating my blog!  We are all decorated for Thanksgiving around here but have happy memories of our fun time.

Jane had her First Grade Halloween program on Friday...I just wish I knew what those kids were looking at!

Saturday we managed to squeeze in some pumpkin carving.  The boys did some additional carving with their airsoft guns...
Stacy had invited everyone to her house for her annual Halloween bash...only problem was her kitchen was in her living room!  So, we moved the party over here.  She brought her traditional used q-tips (mini marshmallows dipped in butterscotch on a pretzel) and cauldrun, filled with grape juice, lime sherbert, and sprite.  She brought some of that other yummy looking food to add to my meager attempts and the other yums that other people brought.  In other words, we had a smorgasborg of deliciousness to choose from!
Jack headed out the door as a middle schooler (no costumes allowed).  Jeffrey and Jane got to dress up, though, and I thought they looked just so cute.  I helped in Jeffrey's class party (wild and fun!).  We had taco soup for dinner, which is related to the chili I had every year of my life on Halloween.

Time to get dressed up...
Meet Dr. Nephario and one of Dr. Gru's Minions from Despicable Me
Of course you know Snow White and her fellow princess, Rapunzel (after her hair gets cut!)

Our ward held a trunk or treat at 5:30.  I indeed did get made fun of for decorating the back of my van, thanks for asking.  (Cute, though, no?)  I thought our neighbor was very brave to wear a real pumpkin on his head :)
After that we tricked and treated around the neighborhood a little, visited Stacy, and came home to bed.  The next day Jeffrey had a great time organizing his candy...
Another successful Halloween!
