Spotlight: Jack

Jack had a good time working on his robot this year too.  The 7th grade robots were designed to play soccer, with the boys using bluetooth connected devices to drive.  The connections were spotty at best with so many devices in the room but they had some luck anyway.

 

We are glad Jack even got to go.  He was supposed to go to the Lagoon day and be a judge but was too sick.  He had fevers, headaches, and eventually a cough and sore throat.  I took him to one doctor who gave him an antibiotic which did nothing.  I took him to another doctor who diagnosed him with Mono.  The part of the competition he attended wore him out!  We are hoping this will be short lived but this is usually not a short lived sickness! 
One good thing is that it's at the end of the school year. 
One bad thing is that it's at the beginning of summer.
