We caught site of this little mountain sheep after standing near a lot of people staring at the mountain. When you see that, you have to stop and play Where's Waldo. It took us a long time to find this little guy on Tuesday night. This is an all the way zoomed in picture from the camera. We spotted him near the same spot Wednesday morning.

Can you see him (her?)?

We drove through some beautiful country to get to Tower Falls. There is a nice hike at these falls that takes you down and close. Sadly, it was closed for upkeep.
We saw the most animals in this part of the park last time we went. We rounded a corner and were excited to see our first (and only!) bear on this trip.
Sadly, this was the weather and road conditions for today...lots of rain and lots of road construction. The pull offs and trails were closed so when we got to the end of this road we turned around and went back, eating our lunch in the car.
The boys really wanted to go to the Dragon's Mouth at the boiling mud pots so we took that drive.
It started raining again once we got there, which diluted the stink just a bit. We let the girls stay in the car.

Why did the Elk cross the road?
To give Yellowstone visitors a thrill!
Since we brought all our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, we decided that we needed to have some kind of out to eat. 50cent ice cream cones every day just doesn't count. After dinner we headed into 'town' to peruse menus posted on the outside of restaurants and then to pick a treat. When we saw the words "If you can eat the whole thing, it's free" we knew we had found our treat. Is that ice cream sundae big enough for ya? Of course, to get it free, only one person can eat it and we shared it. FYI the time to beat for one person eating it is 5 (FIVE!) minutes. Ice Cream Headache anyone?
