We were home for a minute or two in July and tried to cram in as much as we could.
First we had visitors from California...our friends the Turners.

We had our kids taking pictures of us...but they are no photographers so I finally took things into my own hands. There you go, Shar, now we BOTH have our eyes open!

That night John and I were invited to dinner with Jane and the activity days girls. The girls made the dinner and lots of crafts during a day camp that started at 10:00 that morning. After dinner we raced their cute little wooden turtles that they had painted. Basically you had to make them dance all they way to the finish line!

Jeffrey turned 11 on the 12th. He requested crepes with powdered sugar for breakfast. Looks more like he's having powdered sugar with a little crepe, eh! Ah well, that just makes him sweeter, I guess. We like having Jeffrey in our family. He has a great sense of humor, likes to design and build things, and plays really well with everyone.
Not too many presents for Jeffrey to open this year...he got a new bike at the beginning of the summer so we counted that as his gift. We did go out for dinner that night...the drive in at Maddox, {thanks to a gift certificate left over from Christmas}. We enjoyed our burgers very much! So much that I forgot to get a before picture.
